Beauty Tips #2

Wear sunscreen every day, rain or shine. Even when it's cloudy or you're just staying indoor. Sunscreen helps protect our delicate skin from burning & aging, our skin are always expose to lighting therefore sunscreen protection is always needed. 80-percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays pass through the clouds regardless of what the weather is.

Why is sunscreen important?

Applying a daily face sunscreen should be a staple of your daily skin care regimen.
The Importance of Sunscreen
Whether you choose a regular or tinted moisturizer with SPF, the key is in the sunscreen. When used properly, it can help to shield the delicate facial area from UV rays, preventing sun damage that can lead to premature aging. Keep in mind, besides applying sunscreen directly on your face, you should also cover your delicate neck area and your ears to ensure full protection from the sun and prevent sun damage.
Facial Moisturizers With Sunscreen
Perhaps the easiest way to include a face sunscreen in your daily regimen is by using a moisturizer that includes an SPF of at least 15, preferably higher. Some sunscreens have an SPF of up to 70.
Try Tinted Moisturizers With SPF
If you want to save time in your daily moisturizing and makeup routine, tinted moisturizers are available that include sunscreen, which allows you to simply slather, blend, and go.
If you're trying to decide which sunscreen is best, consider your skin type. A variety of different kinds of sunscreens are available for those with sensitive, dry or oily skin.
Don't Forget to Reapply
Remember that with any sunscreen, including face sunscreen, reapplication may be necessary throughout the day. If you don't want to mess up your perfectly applied makeup with a fresh coat of moisturizer with SPF, you don't have to. Some face powders now include SPF.

Health Tip #1

Drinking 8-10 cups / 3.5litres of water a day is important for the human body. Avoid carbonated drinks or drinks which contain high sugar level. Replace sweet drinks with natural sweetener like cane sugar or brown sugar for a better option for sweet taste or grab a glass of fresh fruit juices. Do not leave fresh fruit juice out for too long, best is to have fruits consume immediately after juicing.

Why is drinking water important?

1. Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids.
Our body is composed of about 60% water. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature.
When you're low on fluids, the brain triggers the body's thirst mechanism. And unless you are taking medications that make you thirsty. Listen to those cues and get yourself a drink of water, juice, milk, coffee -- anything but alcohol and highly sugar contained drinks
# Alcohol interferes with the brain and kidney communication and causes excess excretion of fluids which can then lead to dehydration
2. Water Can Help Control Calories
For years, dieters have been drinking lots of water as a weight loss strategy. While water doesn't have any magical effect onweight loss, substituting it for higher calorie beverages can certainly help.
"What works with weight loss is if you choose water or a non-caloric beverage over a caloric beverage and/or eat a diet higher in water-rich foods that are healthier, more filling, and help you trim calorie intake," says Penn State researcher Barbara Rolls, PhD, author of The Volumetrics Weight Control Plan

Beauty Tip #1

The Rule Of Thumb!

For flawless facial skin always have regular cleansing, toning and moisturising routine. Pollution and dust leads to clogged pores that further cause blackheads and pimples on the face. Cleansing your face twice a day will prevent breakout of pimples. Toning and moisturising will bring back skin’s freshness and glow. Simple cleansing* during mid-day can help maintain cleanliness of your skin or spray moisturiser mist.
* wet tissue to tap around the face if there is no make-up application
* use dry tissue to tap around the face if there is make-up
